Since I started writing poetry a few years ago, I\u2019ve been looking for a meaningful way to share it.\u00a0<\/p>
The traditional routes to publishing poetry often seem to favour those already established, or those who follow a particular path. And even then, a book or pamphlet may only be read once or twice before being set aside.\u00a0<\/p>
What I\u2019ve always loved most about poetry is its ability to say more than what\u2019s written.\u00a0
Through analogy and suggestion, and metaphor; a few words can carry layers of meaning, often different for every reader.\u00a0<\/p>
But how could I share my poetry with an audience that doesn\u2019t yet know me?\u00a0
How could I make it accessible, without following the usual routes?\u00a0<\/p>
That\u2019s when the idea came.\u00a0<\/p>
\" What if I could take the lines or phrases from my poems that truly resonate, and give them a life beyond the page?\u00a0\"<\/p>

\" What if those words could be worn?\u00a0\"<\/p>

If a line connects with someone, it might become something they want to carry with them, a reminder, a reflection, or even a quiet statement to the world.\u00a0<\/p>
So I began reading back through my work. Hundreds of poems.\u00a0
And I quickly realised something important.\u00a0<\/p>Not every poem is great, far from it.\u00a0
But even in the ones that fall short, there can still be a line or phrase that stands out.\u00a0<\/p>When those lines are lifted out and allowed to stand alone, they can take on a new meaning entirely.\u00a0<\/p>
In many ways, it mirrors life.\u00a0
We all begin with a blank page, and we have to start writing to get anywhere.\u00a0<\/p>So I built Poetica around that idea.\u00a0<\/p>
Clothing inspired by original poetry.\u00a0
Words designed to be worn.\u00a0<\/p>If you enjoy poetry, thought-provoking ideas, or meaningful phrases, this is for you.\u00a0<\/p>
And there\u2019s more to it.\u00a0<\/p>
The clothing is made using sustainably sourced or re-milled cotton.\u00a0
Items can be returned and recycled as part of a circular system.\u00a0
And the full poems behind the designs will be shared, freely.\u00a0<\/p>This is just the beginning.\u00a0<\/p>
Our collections are chapters in an evolving story. The pages of Chapter 1 are already open, and the next chapter is quietly unfolding.<\/p>
